Felt Tip – Milk & Honey

felt tipLondon’s Felt Tip are preparing for the release of their new single Milk & Honey, out on February 24th via Fierce Panda / Giant Haystacks. It’s a follow-up to their rather brilliant debut single Love or Pity.

For ages now I’ve been gasping on the empty fumes of all those brilliantly angular bands that inhabited the John Peel show and the like, and at last here’s something to really get your teeth into. The band,  Tom Rapanakis on drums, Anton Trampon playing the guitar, with James Tyler on vocals and bass have created something that takes something old, i.e this stripped down angular post-punk, Gang of Four/Joy Division style vibe, and drags it through the intervening years and into 2014
